This picture supposedly came from a book: The Intelligent Eye, written by Gregory R. At first you just see hundreds of black dots scatter on the white background. (Or hundreds of white dots scatter on black background.) However, once you spot the illusion, you can’t go back. This illusion demonstrate how our amazing visual system can organize visual input into interpretable shapes.

Entolodonts are also called killer pigs, the hogs from hell. They lived during the middle Eocene to the early Miocene era in North America. they were four feet wide and weight at 1000 pounds. They had three-feet-long skulls that were too big compare to their body. Although they could hunt on their own, but many people believe they let other predators to do the job and then chase them off .During the Miocene era, the terrible omnivore super sized to adapt to the bigger and faster prey. They became the Dinohyus, The Terminator Pigs.

Violin is a bowed string instrument. Its basic structure is wood and four strings. It can play beautiful music. But powerful or spectacular music as well. It is the smallest and high-pitch member in the violin family. The lowest note it can play is G flat down an octave. Lot of people think violin can only play quietly (including Mateen), but the truth is, those really expensive ones (by expensive I mean those that have prises equivalent to a big house/houses) can play louder than a whole band.

Plastic bag: good or bad?

When plastic bags were invented, they became popular immediately: they are light, convenient, and companies can print their logos on them for advertisement. They replaced paper and linen bags right away. They may seem to be a perfect tool, but the truth is, they are actually harming the environment, animals, and us. Stores should not give their customers plastic bags to carry their groceries.

Once animals swallow plastic bags, they get a false sense of fullness because the plastic bags are stuck in their stomachs. After that, they die of starvation. Some animals cannot distribute their food from plastic bags. Like turtles, for example, they sometimes see plastic bags and think they are jellyfishes, so they eat it. The plastic bags stuck in their body give them a false sense of fullness that eventually leads to death. Animals can be stuck in plastic bags, too. Some of our garbage-dumping site is birds’ favorite place to find food. When the birds put their heads into the plastic bags to search for food, they may be stuck in the plastic bags and die because they cannot breath normally or eat with a stuck head.

If we stop using plastic bags, we will not need to clean the beaches so often, which means we can have more time doing things we like to do. Plastic bags are often blew to the beach by wind or washed up by waves. That is why so many beaches in the world are full with plastic bags. There are often some activities that allow us to help clean these beaches. But why spend time doing this when you don’t need to do it at all. All you need to do is stop using plastic bags. Once we stop using plastic bags, it will be hard for the manufactories to make money because no one is buying plastic bag anymore, so they will stop making plastic bags. Therefore, no plastic bags will be blow to the beaches.

Plastic bags are manufactured using oil. The manufacturing process is also one of the contributors of global warming. If we stop using plastic bags, we can help the planet and reduce hundreds of tons of CO² emission every year. When you burn oil, lot of smoking is going to rise into our atmosphere. Smoke in the atmosphere allows heat from the sun to come in to Earth but deny when the heat tries to come out. Stop making plastic bags can prevent tons of oil from burning and releasing smoke into the atmosphere. This can help slow down and stop global warming, which is a job we are all responsible to.

The Alchemyst is the first book of the series “The Secret of The Immortal Nickolas Flamel”. It is about the story of its main characters Josh and Sophie Newman, the twins, after they saw the magical things that happened to Nickolas Flamel’s bookshop. The main villain in the story is a immortal human whose name is Dee. Dee has been chasing Nickolas Flamel and Perenelle, Nickolas’s wife, for centuries for the The Book of Abraham the Mage, which has the secret of how the dark masters can return to rule the world and human will become nothing but slaves and food. Nickolas Flamel, Perenelle, and Dee all believe that Josh and Sophie are also the legendary twins that will stop (or possibly help) the dark masters mentioned in The Book of Abraham the Mage.
